Easter 2022

Celebrating the Sacred Paschal Triduum of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil is always a great blessing. This year I was struck not only by our Lord’s great love for us, but also how it is still reverberating through history. Even in a world that is growing increasingly secular, there are still millions of people who have made the decision to follow the Lord Jesus Christ. As we gathered together to worship and rejoice, the faith of our parishes gave me great encouragement and hope. The light of Christ will never be extinguished, even until the end of time.

I pray that your Easter experience was one of true joy. He is risen! We have much to be grateful for and much to look forward to, all through the saving work of Christ.

In Christ,

Fr. Mattingly
