St. Luke’s Confirmation Class Pilgrimage

On Sunday, April 3rd, the St. Luke's Confirmation students went on a pilgrimage of St. Louis, MO. churches and shrines. St. Louis has a rich Catholic history and is nicknamed "the Rome of the West". We started with a very old church, St. Mary of Victories, where we took a tour and attended mass. Second, we attended a tour at The Bascilica of St. Louis, King of France (AKA the Old Cathedral), followed by a picnic lunch at the Gateway Arch park grounds. Next, we went to The Cathedral Bascilica of St. Louis (AKA the New Cathedral) and spent some time soaking up the beauty, taking an impromptu tour, and visiting the Cathedral museum. Lastly, we went to Belleville and explored the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows and ended with praying the Stations of the Cross. It was a very inspiring and informative day!
